Writing Mero Maamu ko Maaya was absolutely chaotic. It was a lesson in multitasking, emotional endurance, and the art of sorting through memories. Each image, each line of poetry, pulled me back into moments I hadn’t thought about in years. Writing it meant recalling not just a single memory, but all the echoes it carried. The small gestures, particular smells, innocuous conversations, and a myriad feelings tucked in between.

Organisation is key to unraveling chaos.
Organisation is key to unraveling chaos.

I found myself describing my life in ways I hadn’t imagined were possible. Some days were exhilarating. Some days were exhausting. And yet, each moment of chaos revealed something beautiful: the ability of memories to shape us, and the power of words to preserve them.

This experience reminded me that creating something deeply personal isn’t neat or tidy. It’s messy, emotional, and quite frankly unpredictable! But when you embrace that mess, the result can carry a life of its own. One that connects with others in ways you can’t anticipate.
